STEVE AND DIANE SPRINGER
The communion offering for November will go towards salary support for Steve and Diane in Kentucky.
The following is an update from Steve and Diane :
Steve & Diane are starting their 19th year in Kentucky and God has blessed them in so many ways.
They are sending 2 mission teams out from their church this month. The first team (Woodcutter Work Camp) will be going to Cherokee, North Carolina. They will be cutting, delivering and stacking firewood for the winter for the Native Americans in the area. This is the 17th year for this team.
The second team will be going to the inner city of Louisville in a couple weeks. They will be working at the local Food Pantry, help serve Thanksgiving Dinners, and participate in a local construction project.
Steve and Diane hosted several mission teams this summer. The teams completed the "Kenneth House", a home for a disabled gentleman in the area. Work teams from Saint Paul's had worked on this home. Steve is very appreciative of the work that has been done over the years.
Two weeks ago Steve crashed his bicycle (again). He broke his left collar bone. Last time he crashed he broke his right collar bone. The congregation is considering 3 options to help keep Steve safe. Of course this is all in good fun.
- Give Steve a bike with square wheels
- Get Steve a tricycle
- Steal his bike, cut it into little pieces and deliver it back to him.
Steve and Diane still call Saint Paul's their home church and they will always be part of our church family.

We will be looking to send a team to Kentucky in the near future to help complete renovations on a local house. More details will be in the bulletin when available. See Jim or Claire if you would be interested in going to Kentucky. |
