MIRIAM - 2^nd Tuesday, 9:15 AM Library, Leader Joan Gebele - Baby Sitting (free)

Miriam circle is mainly composed of mothers of children ranging from newborns to early 20's. Most of the women are between 25 and 65. Some members work full time, some work part time and some are full time homemakers.   We meet the second Tuesday of the month in the library at until about 11:30am. Free baby sitters are available and are located in a nearby room. The meetings start off with refreshments and devotions. Prayer requests and sharing come next. UMW business is discussed. Sometimes we do crafts at the meeting, although usually we do crafts at a member's house. In June we go out to dinner in the evening at a local restaurant (leaving the kids and spouses at home). In December we go to a member's home for Christmas gift exchange. At that meeting each member brings either a dessert or and hors d'oeurves to share. (Everyone knows those are the best part of the meal!) We assign secret pals for those interested at our Christmas Party in December. A prayer chain is available throughout the year for emergency prayers.
