DEBORAH - 2nd Tuesday, Members’ homes Leader Peg Askins

Deborah circle was first started in 1976. The circle meets every second Tuesday of every month at each other's homes. Refreshments are served by designated members. Our meetings are informal. There are no dues but we do have Tea and Lemon offerings as a means of support for craft supplies and other expenses. Meetings begin with prayer. We have devotions lead by one of the members and also have had Bible studies on women of the Bible. We discuss upcoming functions of the UMW and attend monthly general meeting, also make crafts for the annual Holiday Bazaar, contribute to the rummage sale, participate in the Mother/Child Dinner as well as all other UMW events. Our group is always open to new members. We learn and share about ourselves and grow in the knowledge of God and Serving Him as member of the body of the Church.
