Walk For the Fellowship Fund
The Walk for All Ages raises money for the Fellowship Fund, a program that provides a financial safety net for residents who are no longer able to cover either part or the full cost of their care.
The Fellowship Fund provides resources for residents' skilled nursing care; memory support services; compassionate hospice care; over-the counter medical supplies; eyeglasses, dental and medical visits; prescriptions not covered by insurance; rent; meals; housekeeping; laundry; personal care services; and transportation. The Fellowship Fund, which reflects our Christian values and the social consciousness of the church, is a cornerstone of the Homes' ministry. The Homes provides compassionate, caring service to almost 1,400 seniors of all faith backgrounds in our 10 communities.
Support of the Walk for All Ages and the Fellowship Fund ensures no resident will ever been asked to leave a United Methodist Homes' community for financial reasons.
