Marriage Moment Helpful Hint for June 2010

Last month’s article (appearing in the bulletin, not the Circuit Rider) was about dealing with conflict. The helpful hint for this month is to not fear talking to a third party if you and your spouse have reached an impasse, whether it be on one issue or if you find yourself butting heads over every little thing. Having an professional and impartial mediator – yes, I mean a counselor – can help both sides see things from a new perspective and can be the difference between deciding to work things out and deciding to give up.
