FROM OUR PASTOR

I hope and pray that this brief introduction to our church gives you a look at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. We are simply a group of ordinary people moved by the love offered to us to do extraordinary things by God’s grace. Here is a bit about what we believe & do as a church family:
At St. Paul's United Methodist Church, our worship includes teaching and preaching of the word of God, opportunities for fellowship and study, mission and outreach to our communities (and beyond), growing children and youth ministries, and, of course, celebration of the holy sacraments of baptism and communion, God’s love and grace poured out for all of us.
Ultimately, it is our prayer that people come to St. Paul's United Methodist Church to grow deeper in their faith and relationship with Christ, to build meaningful friendships with one another, and, through those bonds, to be moved to serve as the hands and feet of Christ within our world. Whether you have been a member of this congregation for decades, are coming back after a bit, or are visiting for the first time, you are loved and have a place here. May God’s unending, steadfast, radical love be with you, today and always.
St. Paul's UMC is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.
What are your services like?
Whether through music, prayer, or preaching, God's word is at the center of all our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching, and giving. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.
Where should I park?
We have a large parking lot at the rear of the church, with designated handicap parking spots near the front door.
Where should I go when I enter the building?
The main entrance for the church sanctuary service is the double doors on the left, facing from the parking lot. We have greeters at the doors who would be happy to help you find your way.
Do you provide childcare?
Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during the 9 am service.
What should I wear?
At our church, we care far more that you’re here than what you’re wearing. You’ll see a little of everything on Sunday mornings—some people prefer casual clothes, others dress more formally, and in the summer you’ll even see plenty of shorts. Whatever you choose, come knowing that this is a place to worship God, not a place to be judged for your appearance. Just come as you are—we’re glad you’re here.
